Tactile Membrane Switches
A Tactile Membrane Switch is designed to offer a tactile and audible response upon activation. The tactile feedback, size, and actuation force can be customized to align with your specific requirements.
Non-Tactile Membrane Switches
When employing a Non-Tactile Membrane Switch, there is no immediate physical or audible feedback to signify the button press. Instead, this type of switch can activate LEDs, generate sounds, offer haptic feedback, or display readings on an instrument panel.
Non-tactile switches are inherently more robust and completely sealed from external elements. This characteristic gives Non-Tactile Membrane Switches the edge by being rated for up to three times the number of actuations compared to a Tactile Membrane Switch.
Benefits
The straightforward design of membrane switches offers advantages across various applications, incorporating elements such as Metal Domes, Polyester Domes, Tactile and Non-Tactile feedback, Flexible Circuits, Printed Circuit Boards, Adhesives, Seals, Vents, Embossing, and more.
